Thurl Ravenscroft, the Tony the Tiger voice and Grinch balladeer ("You're a mean one...), passed away yesterday at the age of 91. He wasn't on my deadpool list, so it isn't terribly that important to me. But he shall be missed....by someone. Somewhere.

I'm heading out to North Carolina tomorrow morning to Paramount Carowinds. Fun? Maybe. The website shows a few cool looking rides, and it's a change-up from my annual Cedar Point trip, which gets stale year after year because you've done it already and you have the urge for something new, ya know? Anyway the worst part is definitely going to be the ride there. Unless I sit in those wagons on the carousel. Then that'd be the worst ride. I watched CourtTV today and there was a trial surrounding the death of a patron on an amusement ride...that would take the cake as the worst in that case.

I ran over a baby duck yesterday. I was sent to town to get pizza from Little Caesar's and whle driving, the car in front of me slammed on the brakes and swerved to the right. In that instant I wondered if the driver blew a tire or something because I knew by seeing there was nothing in the road (deer, boar, person)...at least I thought I knew. Turns out a mama duck followed by a trail of ducklings decided to cross street without looking both ways. The driver in front of me missed them all because of the swerve to the right, and I couldn't stop in enough time. They all got out of the way except one, which I saw in my mirror, half-smashed and twitching it's webbed foot. I was saddened for the rest of the day. To make things worse the Disney channel ran Donald Duck cartoons all night. Look both ways people!

I got a call from my friend and State Marshal Squire of Michigan, Brian Hopper, telling me that his chief counselor Mik--who might I add is a douchebag--told him he wasn't allowed to go to his state squires convention with me on the day he is supposed to go (see, he goes a day before the convention begins because he is an officer and helps run the show) because I can't make it that day. I haven't talked to Mik since May 2nd, and that was only brief. He asked me if I could go up a day early to take Brian and I said I would do anything needed of me. To me, that means I'm available to do that and it's no problem. I'm all for the betterment and success of my squires circle. He told Brian I can't take him that day because I won't be in Michigan. Even though I already told Brian I would take him since no one else can. I've even talked to the State Director about it and everything had been set. It's Mik's responsibility to get ahold of me and make sure of these things because he is the Chief Counselor, and shouldn't have his hand held. By the way, he isn't even going to convention. I hate bitches.

Still no Chappelle's Show Season 3. I am getting Season 2 when it's released since I pre-ordered it. A new book

I'm writing a new book, ya'll. Well, it'd be my first book actually. I'm going to publish it through CafePress. I can't give a definite timeline as to when people can expect it out, but I'll be working on it over the summer. It's about a dysfunctional family...no...not mine, but I draw inspiration from them. It'll be funny, don't worry.

My girlfriend is coming down here to visit the day we get back from North Carolina, and staying over Memorial Day Weekend. That's gonna be cool. We're going to North Carolina because my sister Tiffani is deaf, and every year the deaf children in the county get together and go to some attraction or park in the southern area (last year it was Tennessee). This May we'll be going to Paramount Carowinds. Should be fun.

Big weekend this weekend: Star Wars opens across the world in theaters everywhere, and nerds unite and talk about how superior they are to Trekkies and Hobbits. I read that hundreds of dorks in France dressed up in stormtrooper costumes and the French surrendered....typical.

I've found the next two tattoos I want to get...it should be the final two but that's what I said when I got my last two. It's addicting. You know what else is addicting? Heroin. I don't know personally, but from what I understand it is. Pfff.

This is my first post in my new blog. Don't visit everyday--I won't have an exciting story or limerick all the time, but I hope sometimes you might be amused.
